According to her LinkedIn profile, Giulia started her professional career as a Research Analyst in NERA Economic Consulting where she worked for 3 years starting from 2001.
Then she worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2005 to 2009 at the same university she graduated from.
Then, Giulia worked as an Economic Consultant in 2008 and senior Economist in 2009. Giulia then went on to be a Senior Associate for the Brattle Group.
Giulia finally landed a job as Chief Economist in National Telecommunication & Information Administration in 2015 where she worked for almost 3 years.
After that, Giulia got the position of Deputy Chief in the Federal Communications Commission where she worked for months till December.
Then, she was promoted to the chief position and has been working there since 2018.
Giulia Cangiano has completed her Ph.D.
Guilia graduated from Wesleyan University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree before taking a job with the FCC. Later, in 2009, she graduated with a doctorate in economics from the University of Maryland.
Giulia joined NERA Economic Consulting as a research analyst after receiving her degree. After that, she spent five years working as a senior associate for The Brattle Group.
The Couple was in a Relationship for a Short Time
Patrick and Giulia did love each other unconditionally but they were in a relationship for a rather short time before marrying. According to Patrick’s spokesman, they were in a relationship for around 7 months before tying the knot.
Interestingly, Giulia grew up in Massachusetts and supported her husband’s rival, Rep. Barney Frank, before she fell in love with Patrick.

After 4 years of marriage, the couple were blessed with their first child whom they named, Cecelia Rose. Nonetheless, the exact date of birth is not found anywhere on the internet.
Furthermore, the couple gave birth to their second child, Therese Anne, two years after their first child in 2018. She was born on 11th January 2018 on Thursday.
